No, Flat Home routers are always rental devices. We will send you the router together with the SIM card so that you can get started right away. If you cancel your subscription, we will send you a return label so that you can send the router and SIM card back to us.
Please note that damaged or unreturned routers or accessories will be charged retrospectively.
All Digital Republic tariffs specify the respective maximum speed. Due to the technical nature of mobile communications, the actual speed can be influenced by numerous factors, in particular the utilization of the local antenna cell and reception within the building.

After activating your Flat Home tariff, you have 30 days to thoroughly test the service. If you discover any defects in the router during this period or are not satisfied with the service you receive (less than 80% of the maximum speed), you can contact our support team with evidence of the defects (photo of the device or screenshot of a speed test) and, if the defects are confirmed, cancel your subscription free of charge. In this case, we will send you a free return label so that you can return the router and SIM card to us.
You can easily pay for your subscription using TWINT, your credit card (Mastercard, Visa), or PostFinance by saving your preferred payment method in the customer portal.
After the 11th month from activation, you can easily cancel your Flat Home via the customer portal. We will then send you a free return label, which you can use to return the router and SIM card to us.
Please note that the router is a rental device and must be returned complete, including all cables and connectors. If the router is excessively damaged or accessories are missing, we will have to charge you for the device. If the router has been used for more than 24 months, no claims will be made upon return.
