eSIM-Only New for Apple iPads – Online in 5 Minutes With Digital Republic
Already standard for iPhones in the USA, iPads are now being launched worldwide – except in China – as eSIM-only devices. Anyone who grabs one of the new iPad Air or Pro models is therefore dependent on an eSIM for their mobile data connection. As an eSIM provider from the very beginning, we are of course more than ready for this change. The Digital Republic eSIM is always just a toggle away and easier to order and activate than ever before!
Full Flexibility in the Choice of Tariff
What do you want to do with your new iPad when you’re out and about? Is it about simply checking emails? Do you want to stream high-resolution videos or work in the cloud?
You can find the right speed for every application on our “Smart devices” page. All tariffs there are purely data tariffs. So you don’t have to pay for telephony that you do on your iPhone anyway.
Flat 10 is completely sufficient for most of our customers. And if this is not the case in your specific situation, you can upgrade to Flat 50 or even Flat 300 at any time. As always with Digital Republic, it all depends on your needs: Choose the tariff that suits you and pause, upgrade or downgrade it every month if necessary. Your iPad, your decision.
Set up the eSIM on the iPad in Five Minutes
Once you have decided on a tariff, you can flip the “eSIM switch” and click on “Order” and the fun begins!
You register with us as a customer via an easy-to-understand onboarding process, carry out ID verification and receive your eSIM QR code, all in five minutes, conveniently from your smartphone or computer.
Then simply scan the QR code with your new iPad Air or iPad Pro and you’ll be connected directly to the Internet via 5G. Of course, this also works with any other tablet that supports eSIM. A non-exhaustive list of these devices can be found on esim.ch.
No Risk Thanks to a Free Month
As always, we’ve saved the best for last: At Digital Republic, we want to enable you to test our tariffs without obligation. As a new customer, you therefore do not have to pay for your eSIM in the first month.
This allows you to check network coverage, Internet speed and your own actual requirements without worrying about being tied to a contract term and at no cost.
If you are happy, you can keep your subscription, if not, you can simply deactivate the automatic renewal and let your plan expire.
During the whole time, you are always welcome to contact our competent and friendly support team, because despite all the simplicity, we will certainly not leave you out in the rain in the event of any problems.
