Digital Republic Is Increasing Roaming Data From 2 GB to 5 GB for All Flat Mobile Customers With Immediate Effect – Free of Charge
Press Release
Digital Republic is increasing the roaming data included in its Flat Mobile plan from 2 GB to 5 GB. The increase will take effect automatically and applies immediately to all new and existing customers. The price remains unchanged at 18 Swiss francs per month.
Rotkreuz, September 5, 2025 – The original Flat Mobile by Digital Republic has been around for more than a year. This year, two additional subscriptions have been added: Flat Mobile Swiss and Flat Mobile Plus. With the launch of the new mobile subscriptions at the beginning of the year, Flat Mobile customers already received their first upgrade: full-speed 5G and 100 minutes of roaming calls in the EU, US, and UK. Now Digital Republic is making Flat Mobile even more attractive and more than doubling the included roaming data: from 2 GB to 5 GB.
“Every day, we deliver the best subscription at the best price—for existing and new customers.”
– Dimitri Salzgeber, CMO, Digital Republic
Existing customers do not need to do anything. They will automatically receive the additional roaming data, which will be available for use immediately. The Flat Mobile plan with 5 GB of roaming data is also available to new customers with immediate effect. Digital Republic is going one step further with its Flat Mobile annual packages and increasing the roaming data volume for all existing annual packages to 60 GB, regardless of how long the subscription still has to run.
