Admittedly, we were skeptical about integrating AI into our support system. Digital Republic stands for simplicity, customer focus, and transparency. Until now, chatbots have mostly been associated with unhelpful and generic responses. However, since the initial hype surrounding ChatGPT, this cliché is increasingly proving to be outdated. How the AI Sales Assistant Works
Together with Connect AI, we have set up an AI assistant for the website that has been trained with all the content we have on the website. This means that the assistant knows all the terms and conditions, all the products, all the options, and all the blog and knowledge articles on the website.
At the same time, we have taught the assistant to actively ask for important criteria, such as whether you need a lot, a little, or no roaming at all. The primary goal of the assistant is to guide you through our website and quickly provide you with information that you might otherwise have to search for at length.

The chatbot advises you like a team member, understands the context of your question, and can respond in every conceivable language. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Initial Results Show That the AI Sales Assistant Is Popular!
Our digital sales advisor conducts around 100 conversations per day with visitors to the Digital Republic website. These mainly concern finding the right mobile phone plan and questions about the features and contract terms of Digital Republic.
Particularly pleasing: in June, the AI sales assistant already convinced 70 users to purchase one of our flat-rate mobile phone subscriptions.

With our two AI assistants from Connect AI, we are providing you with another tool to navigate through our offerings and help articles. The trend is clearly moving toward conversational search. Google provides AI overviews, ChatGPT links to source websites and products, and more and more people are searching directly through these services.

We will probably become increasingly accustomed to asking directly and naturally for the things we are looking for and then finding the desired result in a conversation.
AI assistants on websites are therefore likely to become increasingly common, even if they do not represent the final version of the user experience. Ultimately, developments in user behavior will determine how websites evolve.
