Mobile internet for everyone and everything

5G Home Start Is Here!

The Complete 5G Home Internet Solution Incl. Router, Without a Contract!

Mobile Home Internet means one thing above all: freedom. No need for an electrician to install the connection, no long-term contracts, no administrative hassle when you move and flexibility on a par with the mobile phone subscription market. The only hurdle is purchasing the necessary hardware and data tariffs that are suitable for use at home. With 5G Home Start, we have created a solution for both that leaves nothing to be desired.

This Is How the Offer Works

As with the cheaper 4G Home Start, the deal is quite simple: you buy the 5G router and get the necessary data SIM card for free. With this, you can surf the 5G network from Sunrise completely free of charge and with unlimited data volume for the first 30 days. After that, you can decide for yourself whether you want to switch to a different tariff, continue surfing at the pre-installed tariff for CHF 30 per month, or deactivate the SIM card again.

The router belongs to you in either case.

We deliberately chose a bundle with the most popular 5G router from our shop, because no review is better than feedback from our customers.

TPLink X50 Router

The TP-Link Deco X50-5G combines a wide range of functions with an appealing design and easy operation via an app. Six integrated mobile network antennas ensure sufficient reception, and with Wi-Fi 6, a firewall and QoS function, all the way up to configurable guest access, it has every feature you could want in a home router.

The SIM Card: Flat 300 With Unlimited Data Volume

The package includes a Digital Republic SIM card with our Flat 300 data plan. You can activate this yourself in 5-10 minutes in your customer portal and then insert it into the router. After that, you can surf the 5G network at up to 300 Mbps download speed, depending on your location, without being tied to a data volume.

If you decide to continue using the tariff after the first 30 days, you can stay online for a monthly fee of CHF 30, whether you are at home, in a holiday home or in a hotel. You enjoy the full flexibility of mobile data connections.

Flat 300 SIM Card

If you only get a slower connection at your location or realize that you don’t need the 300 Mbps at all, you also have the option of switching to a lower-priced plan. You can choose from all Digital Republic rates from 0.4 to 2000 Mbps via your customer portal. You can flexibly adjust, pause or even deactivate this on a monthly basis. You have no minimum contract term or notice period.

The Service: Distinctly Digital Republic

As a Digital Republic customer, you not only benefit from flexible rates, but also from competent and personal support should any problems arise. You can reach our much-praised support heroes via contact form or by phone, and if you want to search for solutions yourself, you can access an extensive knowledge base including an AI assistant.

Thanks to the satisfaction guarantee, you can also return the router to us within the first 30 days without any problems if you are not satisfied with the device or if the router is defective.
