Short interview with Patrick Bucher from revolutionSCREEN AG

First of all, please tell me what your function is at revolutionSCREEN AG.

I am a founding member of revolutionSCREEN AG, advise and support large and small customer projects nationally and internationally. Our dynamic team consists of the co-founder Fredy Flükiger, as well as ten developers and designers who have been making customer wishes a reality since 2019.

Tell us about revolutionSCREEN. What are you doing exactly?

revolutionSCREEN is the software market leader in the digital signage sector with professional SAMSUNG displays. Our revolutionary and easy-to-use software is already pre-installed from the SAMSUNG factory. According to the motto: Fast, easy, anytime.  

With just a few clicks during unboxing, the display shines with the individual customer content. Various interfaces to Microsoft, Google, Instagram, Facebook, media databases, weather stations, intranet solutions, etc. are already preconfigured and ready to use with a click. 

The customers manage the content via our cloud solution. The complete hardware monitoring runs directly via revolutionSCREEN. Our customers can therefore be sure that the hardware works as desired and is always up to date. 

What problem(s) existed at revolutionSCREEN before you started working with Digital Republic?

Our customer displays sometimes have to be installed in locations without an existing internet infrastructure being available. We close this gap with our GSM industrial router and the SIM from Digital Republic.

How does Digital Republic’s offering help you solve these problems? What convinced you?

revolutionSCREEN is at home in a rapidly growing market. Our customers are used to accessing our services “on demand”. Digital Republic supports us with their flexible range of SIM cards to get our customers online quickly and easily.

Why did you choose Digital Republic over another provider’s solution?

The uncomplicated SIM dashboard convinced us. We have the option of using SIM cards individually without any commitments. Whether at an event lasting several days or over several months at a fixed location – all these options are just a click away.

Would you recommend Digital Republic to other companies and if so, why?

The price-performance ratio is fair and the availability of the products is constant. The company is young, innovative, customer and market-oriented, as is our startup revolutionSCREEN. The two companies share the same values – that’s where the pot found the lid 😉.

What’s next for revolutionSCREEN?

revolutionSCREEN is currently expanding in 16 countries. Our product is unique in the digital signage market. Our great team lives for innovations and customer requests every day and is looking forward to implementing further interesting projects with Digital Republic.
