Short interview with Philipp Lütolf from emost

Please tell me at the beginning what your function at emost is.

I work in product development and am responsible for software engineering. My activities include embedded programming, IoT connectivity and cloud front- and backend.

Tell us something about emost. What do you do exactly?

emost is working on the future of mobile power supply. With our innovative battery storage systems, we provide energy where no qualitatively or quantitatively sufficient power supply is available, such as on construction sites, at events or after natural disasters.

What problem(s) existed before you started working with Digital Republic?

With the first prototype, we had the problem that the operating data was only accessible locally. We needed an IoT solution via mobile radio.

How does Digital Republic’s offering help you solve these problems? What convinced you?

What’s next for emost?

One of our most important tasks is the further development and optimisation of our emost web app, which allows our customers to monitor and control their battery systems and increase the utilisation of the units.
