Use Cases
IPv4/IPv6 VPN
Static IP addresses via the IPv6 network (e.g. for access to the company VPN) can now be implemented with simple plug & play solutions. Together with a selected partner, Digital Republic delivers a suitable IPv6 solution.
Static IP addresses also work via mobile communications!
No public, static IP addresses are normally assigned with data SIM cards. Nevertheless, more and more companies need an internal network with static IPs in order to be able to access the infrastructure securely from outside. With the help of an IPv6 network, all devices in a company can be equipped with a static IP address. As the successor to IPv4, IPv6 is the technology of the new Internet. Our customers can already migrate to the new protocol standard without much effort. This makes it easier for external employees to access the infrastructure.
Digital Republic enables anyone to set up their own IPv6 network over the cellular network. The so-called VIIRB router from the company ungleich glarus AG takes over this task without the need for a great deal of technical know-how. All devices connected to the router receive their own static IP, which remains in place even if the connection is interrupted. The whole thing is rounded off by an integrated firewall, which protects the company’s infrastructure.
Right speed for every application
Depending on which end device is to be connected to the IPv6 network, a different Digital Republic subscription can be used. If you want to connect an internal infrastructure to the IPv6 network, the Flat 300 subscription with maximum speed is ideal. For a sales representative who wants to access the network via VPN, a Flat 10 subscription is sufficient.
