Cheaper Abroad: We’re Slashing Roaming Rates!
The travel season is just around the corner, and we have some great news for you just in time for the start of summer: Starting now, you can surf the web and make calls abroad even more affordably with Digital Republic. We’ve significantly lowered our rates for roaming data packages, as well as for calls and texts.
Whether you’re planning a vacation or traveling for business, with the new rates you can stay connected without worry, even if you run out of the included data allowance on your Flat Mobile plan.
These Are the New Roaming Packages for Zone 1
In Zone 1 (EU, US, and UK), we’ve significantly lowered our prices for data packages. You’ll save a lot, especially on the larger packages:
- 1 GB for 7.– instead of 10.– CHF
- 3 GB for 15.– instead of 20.– CHF
- 5 GB for 20.– instead of 30.– CHF
- 10 GB for 35.– instead of 50.– CHF
As usual, your data packages are valid for 365 days. So don’t worry if you don’t use up all your data in a single trip.
Calls and Texts: Simple and Fair
Not only will surfing the web be cheaper, but so will calling home or making calls in the country you’re visiting. The new per-minute rates are easy to understand:
- Zone 1: 0.30 CHF per minute
- Zone 2: 1.– CHF / minute
- Zone 3: 2.– CHF / minute
You can now send text messages within Zone 1 for 20 franc centimes (Zones 2 & 3: 30 franc centimes).
The Perfect Addition to Flat Mobile Plans
These roaming packages round out an offer we recently launched with a free increase in roaming data allowance for all our mobile plans. Flat Mobile Swiss, Flat Mobile, and Flat Mobile Plus already provide you with 2, 12, and 24 GB of monthly roaming data in Zone 1, respectively.
Once you’ve used up this data allowance, the new affordable roaming plans offer a flexible way to stay connected.
