Good mobile provider for me. Works almost immediately with esim. I could cancel any time, no Secret fees. Of course not everything is perfect, in the mountains I am losing reception quite often, sometimes also in the city for a few minutes, but speed is great, reliable and best pro customer condition that I found in Switzerland (other operators are terrible)

Very flexible and no commitments options. The Flat Mobile at 18 CHF is really good value and much better than the ‘big’ operators. I use it regularly abroad in EU countries. Management of e-sim is excellent (transfer, re-download). Quick customer service too. It uses Sunrise network, whith overall good quality and coverage.

I’m in Switzerland for the next couple of years and have installed an eSIM on my otherwise Canadian iPhone. Sad to say that Telus was AWOL helping get it all set up. Meanwhile, Digital Republic was outstanding. I was dealing with a Chat window from Canada with no response after 24 hours…with Digital Republic, their Chat window gave me precise answers in English literally one second after I had finished writing my questions. Added to this amazing customer support, the cellular plan is fantastic: I have unlimited data and calls in Switzerland, plus 100 minutes of free calls to Canada every month for $30 CAD.

Is it normal to kinda love a telecommunications provider? Everything from first signing up online for a sim card to then getting wifi for the flat, to requesting a new sim card with the same number after my phone was stolen, or upgrading to get more EU roaming credits if I used up all of mine – everything has been so effortless and pleasant, and so super quick. Plus, affordable. Digital Republic is amazing in every regard, everything is 10/10.

Making Phone Calls Abroad

With Flat Mobile, you can make unlimited calls within Switzerland. In the EU/USA zone, 100 minutes per month (including calls from Switzerland to 33 countries) are included; after that, the per-minute rate applies. To use roaming services, you must register a Swiss identity document (passport/ID card or foreigner’s ID card) in the customer portal.

All plans are available as eSIM. This eliminates shipping and allows you to easily switch between different profiles on your device right away.

Watch SIM

With Watch SIM, you can share your subscription with your Apple or Samsung Watch. This means you can still be reached on your usual number even without your smartphone, so you can simply leave it at home.

All our subscriptions run on the Sunrise network.

You can easily pay for your subscription using TWINT, your credit card (Mastercard, Visa), or PostFinance by saving your preferred payment method in the customer portal.

In principle, anyone can use Flat Mobile. However, there are a few restrictions in terms of delivery and included services.

Delivery
Please note that physical SIM cards are only sent to addresses in Switzerland. However, the eSIM can be booked from any country.

Roaming Calls
For security reasons, roaming calls can only be made by persons who have stored a Swiss-issued identity document in their customer account (passport/ID card, C or B permit). This also applies to included roaming minutes.

Yes. With Flat Mobile and Flat Mobile Plus, you already have data and calling minutes included each month. However, you can also add additional roaming packages for different zones to each subscription at any time in the customer portal. You can find the current rates here: Rates

Please note that you must have an identity document issued in Switzerland stored in your customer account in order to make use of roaming calls. (Passport, ID card, C, B, F, or S permit)

We have no minimum contract term or notice period. You can simply deactivate the automatic renewal for each SIM card individually at any time in the customer portal. The subscription then expires at the end of the paid period. There are no costs involved.
