The Friends with Benefits program applies to all Flat Mobile cell phone subscriptions offered by Digital Republic. Currently, this includes Flat Mobile Swiss, Flat Mobile, and Flat Mobile Plus. In order for the subscriptions to be eligible for the group discount, an active payment method must be stored in your customer account and the SIM card must be activated.

If you don’t have an active Flat Mobile subscription, you can still remain in the group. However, after 30 days without an active Flat Mobile subscription, you will be automatically removed from the group. To prevent this, make sure you have at least one active Flat Mobile subscription within this period.

If you already have multiple Flat Mobile subscriptions active on your account, these will immediately be included in your discount in their entirety. This means that you can still benefit from the Friends with Benefits discount even if you have multiple subscriptions or manage your family’s subscriptions via your account.

There is no limit to the number of SIM cards that can belong to a group.

Yes, however, for annual packages, the discount only becomes active after the current billing period has expired. This means that your subscription will only become cheaper when the annual package is renewed. Of course, your subscription will be added to the group immediately when you join.

Good news! If you transfer your number to Digital Republic and the transfer date is still in the distant future, you will remain in the group. However, your subscription will only be counted toward the discount once it is active. As soon as the transfer is complete and you start using your Flat Mobile, your subscription will also count toward the group discount.

The discount is always applied at the time of payment. For example, if you sign up for a new Flat Mobile subscription while another one is still active, the discount for the new tier will be applied immediately. This means you benefit right away.

No, you can only belong to one group at a time. If you want to join another group, you must first leave your current group and then join the new group via the invitation link.

Each Friends with Benefits group can have up to 15 members. Once the group is full, no more people can join. You don’t have to worry about managing the invitation link. As soon as someone tries to join a full group via the link, they will automatically be notified that the group is already full.
