eCarUp and Digital Republic offer you a simple & flexible data SIM solution for your charging stations and smart-me installations in your building.
You can use the Flat 0.4 for up to 5 charging stations and connect them to the Internet either directly or via a gateway.
You can either order a free SIM card for test purposes in the shop below, or place a larger order straight away.
For up to 50 charging stations, you need a higher Internet speed to ensure uninterrupted operation of the stations via a single gateway. You are ideally equipped for this with the Flat 10.
With a large system, you need sufficient bandwidth to efficiently network all charging stations via a gateway. The Flat 300 offers you a sufficiently high speed to operate a large number of charging stations without delay.
*As soon as local load management is available from the station manufacturer, it is advisable to clarify the actual connection speed required with the manufacturer / supplier.
It is best to always start with the Flat 0.4 SIM card. As soon as a system is expanded with additional stations, you can independently adjust the connection speed of the Digital Republic SIM cards upwards at any time.
Flat 0.4 with a rather low bandwidth is perfectly adequate for both billing and control.
If the smart-me devices in the apartment block are only used for billing, Flat 0.4 is sufficient.
If the billing is supplemented by control, you need a little more bandwidth and are well covered with Flat 10.
As many end devices are connected to one gateway, it is advisable to use the Flat 300 to ensure that billing and control function reliably in every case.
*For complex and dynamic control systems such as self-consumption optimisation or load control, it is advisable to clarify the effectively required connection speed in advance.

Due to a fluctuating dead spot in the underlying Sunrise network, the internet at my uncle’s place was occasionally unstable. The helpdesk team at Digital Republic guided us through the entire support process with competence and patience, ultimately helping us transition to a different provider, connected via fiber-optic (Glasfaser).
That said, we were very satisfied with Digital Republic’s reasonable offerings and excellent support, and we would gladly consider them for future needs.

I was in Switzerland as tourist and I needed internet SIM. Digital Republic was offering the best deal at that moment.
I have taken 10 Mbps speed, unlimited internet. Everything works great.
There was one unexpected thing… Automatic verification did not work with an old-version Croatian ID, but support team solve that extremely fast. We exchanged literally 3 emails. They respond within half an hour.

Very happy with their customer service (had issues to auto-verify my foreign ID), information and online portal.
The offers are clear and flexible.
The roaming package with some data for 365 days is a great deal for those near the border. I avoid risking fees from my other SIM (EU) if it accidentally connects to Switzerland.
I had recommended this to 1 friend who was very happy with the home WiFi option and now I do it for myself.

What you need to know
You can order a free SIM card for test purposes and test it in your system easily and free of charge. This allows you to familiarise yourself with the customer portal and find out whether everything works to your satisfaction.
If you would like to order several SIM cards at once, you can also do this directly via the shop above and we will send you the SIM cards.

When you activate your first SIM card, you will receive access to the Digital Republic customer portal. There you can activate additional SIM cards, manage existing SIM cards and, if you wish, order an eSIM in just a few minutes.

The data volume is unlimited on all SIM cards. Software and firmware updates for your systems therefore have no impact on the costs. All tariffs are unlimited and only limited by the speed.
You can either simply pay for your SIM cards by credit card or, on request, you can also receive a monthly invoice. The invoice is sent at the end of each month and covers all SIM cards. To get access to the manual invoice, please contact your account manager.
As soon as you have received your SIM card, you can register in our customer portal. To do this, you will need details about your company (VAT number) and about five minutes’ time. After registration, we will activate your SIM card automatically and you will receive an e-mail as soon as everything is ready.

Please note that more charging stations also mean more traffic for your gateway. You can easily increase the speed of your subscription with just a few clicks. This is how it works.

Apart from the fees for the selected subscription, Digital Republic will not charge you any further costs. The management platform is free of charge and no activation fees are charged.
Firstly, you order the relevant SIM card directly here via our webshop. After receiving the SIM card, you activate it in the customer portal and set up your company account.
