Practical Application: Digital Republic Also Uses 5G Internet!

Short interview with Marco Arnold, Co-Founder of Digital Republic

Please tell me at the beginningwhat your function at Digital Republic is.

I am co-founder and run Digital Republic AG together with Ali Soy. Internally, I am primarily concerned with the development of technical solutions and the customer journey.

Tell us a bit more about Digital Republic. What exactly do you do?

Digital Republic offers mobile Internet for private and corporate customers. We design our products to be as free, fair and progressive as possible, i.e. we give our customers and partners all the tools they need to implement IoT and other connectivity projects. This starts with the smartphone or router at home and extends to the completely self-managed networking of entire companies.

What led to the decision to use your own products for your daily work?

We connect our entire company with our SIM cards. From the telephone system to the router in the office. Many of our employees also use the SIM cards for the Internet connection at home and of course all of them use our mobile subscriptions for their smartphones.

What Do You Solve With Digital Republic SIM Cards?

We connect our entire company with our SIM cards. From the telephone system to the router in the office. Many of our employees also use the SIM cards for the Internet connection at home and of course all of them use our mobile subscriptions for the smartphone.

Why didn’t you opt for fiber optics?

We want to show that mobile Internet is in no way inferior to traditional solutions. We are firmly convinced of the potential of the mobile internet and the IoT, so the question of another solution did not arise. If you sell mobile Internet as a complete solution, you should also live by it and lead by example.

Would you recommend the Digital Republic setup to other companies and if so, why?

Sure! Mobile Internet offers incredible flexibility and thanks to our self-management tools, the connections can be scaled at will. On the one hand, this is very interesting for start-ups and SMEs, but it also offers a lot of freedom of action for large companies or projects that do not have a well-developed infrastructure, for example in the event or construction industry.

What’s next for Digital Republic?

Of course we stay on the ball and continue to develop. How exactly that will look like should remain a surprise 😉.

Thank you for the short interview.
